Learn the seven most nutritious wild plants of spring
And how to forage them safely around Britain
You've seen wild garlic in expensive farm shops. Dandelion leaves sold as "gourmet greens" at health food stores. Plants that grow freely outside, packaged and priced like they're rare.
They're not rare. They're everywhere. You just haven't learned to see them yet.
Most of us have lost the ability to recognise the food growing all around us. We walk past nettles, cleavers, and ribwort plantain without a second glance, unaware they're some of the most nutritious plants available in spring.
What's covered in this email course.
- How to identify seven nutrient-rich wild edibles that grow commonly across Britain in spring
- When and where each plant appears, so you know what to look for as the season progresses
- How to harvest sustainably without damaging the plant or the ecosystem
- Traditional uses our ancestors relied on for food and medicine
- Simple preparation methods you can use in your own kitchen
- How to distinguish these plants from anything that might be confused with them
What makes this different.
Most foraging guides overwhelm you with dozens of plants at once. You end up remembering none of them.
This course focuses on seven plants. Just seven. They're the most nutritious, the easiest to identify, and the most abundant in spring. You'll receive one email each day for seven days, with clear photos, detailed information, and practical guidance.
I've been teaching foraging full-time since 2008. My courses are listed at the top of BBC Countryfile's "Best foraging courses in the UK". I've travelled to four continents documenting how indigenous cultures use wild plants, and my field guide has sold over 60,000 copies.
I created this course because beginners need a simple starting point. Seven plants. Seven days. That's how you build confidence.

This is NOT for you if:
